Product Category Setup
Start by clicking on the Inventory icon on the dashboard then click on stock categories on the left menu then click on the "add Sales Category" button.
Categories determine how the accounting software treats inventory and services/labor hours.
All saleable products should be set up as stock type "finished goods". Raw material ie input components to make a product should be set up as stock type "raw materials".
Finished Goods, Dummy products, and Labor will be displayed on the POS while inter staff cost, overhead, and raw materials will not be displayed
