Importing Products

• Select Import Files Icon on the dashboard

• Select import products menu

• Click on the download icon to down the product template

• Populate the template using the notes below

• Import the template

• stockcode: Stock Code should not be empty. It should not already exist.

• description: Stock description should not have any special characters (&"/'$#%?{}!*;:). It should not contain more than 25 characters

• categoryname: Category Name as displayed in the software. ie the category should already exist.

• units: Units should exist already. Check Below for list of Units.

• itemtype: Itemtype should be Assemble, Manufactured, Purchased, Wage/Service charge

• taxcatgory: Tax Category Name should be Exempt, Freight, Luxury Items, Taxable supply

• materialcost: Material cost should be in number format without any comma. Default value is Zero. Example 9999.99

• salesprice: Sales Price should be number format without any comma. Default value is Zero. Example 9999.99

• barcode: Barcode is optional.

• eoq: Economic Order Quantity should be number format without any comma. Default value is Zero.Example 9999.99

• serialized: Serialized is should be 'YES' or 'NO'. If products have serial number then Batch Controlled should be 'Yes'

• controlled: Batch Controlled is should be 'YES' or 'NO'.Batch Control should be 'Yes' if the product have serial number.
